Disciplinary and Ethics Charter

Rescue – Love – Share

Preamble

This charter aims to remind every member, volunteer, partner or collaborator of Tikva Secours, regardless of role or level of responsibility, of the spiritual, moral and ethical principles that guide our conduct.

Inspired by the values of the Torah and the Bible, it affirms our commitment to act with faith, respect, integrity and love of neighbor in all our humanitarian and social actions.

Our values

A biblical foundation

Solidarity, dignity and respect: the foundations of every action and human relationship.

We embody the biblical values of solidarity, dignity and respect, the foundations of each of our actions and human relationships.

We reject any form of discrimination: our service is intended for everyone, regardless of religion, origin, gender or social condition.

Spiritual references

« You shall love your neighbor as yourself. »

Leviticus 19:18

« Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. »

Luke 6:31

« We are His workmanship, created in Yeshua for good works which God prepared beforehand. »

Ephesians 2:10

Our actions reflect a living Gospel, rooted in the good works prepared by the Most High.

Our strength: unity in diversity

The richness of our Federation lies in the diversity of its members. United in our faith in Yeshua HaMashiach, we work together in peace and love.

The Messiah is our cornerstone (Isaiah 28:16; Ephesians 2:20), the source of our unity and our strength.

Each action is carried by women and men of diverse cultures and nationalities, animated by a single heart: that of selfless service, guided by faith and hope.

Our vision

Two hands to act, one heart to love

« Two hands to rescue, one heart to love, one life to share. »

We want to manifest concrete love, according to the call of the Messiah:

« I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink… »

Matthew 25:35-36

« Go and do likewise. »

Luke 10:37 — the Good Samaritan

Sharing faith is also transmitting hope. Offering a meal, care, a kind look or sincere listening already reveals the love of G-d.

Our mission

Guided by the grace of Hashem

Animated by the grace of the G-d of Israel, our mission rests on three pillars.

Prevent and relieve

Prevent and relieve human suffering, wherever it is found.

Protect

Protect the most vulnerable in all circumstances, with dedication and kindness.

Promote

Promote the values of the Torah and the Bible in humanitarian action.

We believe that every life is precious and deserves to be defended, supported and honored.

Our commitments

Three founding pillars

1

1. Respect for the Word of Hashem / G-d

The Torah and the Bible are our moral compass. We seek to conform our actions to these teachings, living in righteousness, humility, justice and love.

The mitzvot and the teachings of the Messiah guide our ethical, responsible and compassionate conduct.

2

2. Respect for individuals

Every human being is created in the image of G-d (Genesis 1:27). Their dignity is inalienable.

We are committed to treating every person with kindness, listening, respect and justice, whether beneficiaries, colleagues or partners.

Internally, we cultivate a climate of mutual respect and harmonious collaboration, and we exercise authority in a spirit of service, never of domination.

3

3. Respect for the law

Tikva Secours is committed to strictly respecting civil laws, particularly those governing humanitarian action, first aid, health and the protection of populations.

« Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto G-d the things that are G-d's. »

Matthew 22:21

We carry out all our actions with honesty, transparency and integrity.

A service inspired by divine love

Each member of Tikva Secours is called to serve freely, voluntarily and devoutly, according to the call of the heart and the light of the Word of G-d.

Our mission is sacred because it touches the essential of the human being: their life, their dignity and their hope.

« For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to the Messiah, amen I tell you, he shall not lose his reward. »

Mark 9:41
