Article 1 – Admission of members
The TIKVA SECOURS Federation may welcome new members at any time, subject to compliance with the conditions and procedures defined below.
1.1 – Affiliation of associated associations
Any association wishing to be affiliated with the TIKVA SECOURS Federation must:
- Designate a single representative, who must be a natural person;
- Inform the Federation without delay of any change of representative;
- Submit the designated representative for approval by the Federal Board of Directors.
The same legal entity may only designate one representative.
The representative of an affiliated association:
- May not combine this role with that of an individual member of the Federation;
- Has a single deliberative vote in federal bodies.
In the event of exceptional incapacity, the association may designate a special agent or provisional representative for a maximum period of three months, without creating any additional voting rights.
1.2 – Conditions for admission of individual members
To be admitted, any individual member or representative must:
- Be of legal age;
- Enjoy their civil rights;
- Obtain approval from the Federal Bureau;
- Read the statutes, these internal rules and the ethics charter, and undertake to comply with them;
- Pay the annual membership fee, unless otherwise provided.
Delegation presidents are ex officio members of the Federation.
1.3 – Membership procedure
All membership applications must be made in writing and addressed to the Federal Bureau.
The decision to accept or refuse is notified to the applicant within a maximum period of three months from receipt of the application. The Federation reserves the right to refuse any membership application without being required to give reasons.
